I’m more likely to be knitting with fingering or lace, but I did turn a chonky ball of yarn into a jumper for a sick-in-bed-with-covid project last year.

The chunky dark blue yarn has begun to transform into an interpretation of Knitting for Olive’s truffle jumper. We’re almost through the yoke to the split for the sleeves. The blankets are now rumpled. The jumper has grown and is held up proudly as if it is standing on its own! The variations of shades of dark blue are shifting nicely through the textured knit stitch. Just the sleeves left to go. The knitter, pleased with her now finished creation, tries to take a selfie wearing it. The sleeves are bracelet length because of potential running out of yarn. The wearer looks a little worn after four days of quarantine.
