star wars did give us a slur for robots (clankers) but i don’t use it bc i don’t want to have to look a robot in the eye in fifty years and be like “you don’t understand it was a different time…”

Just reading a recipe suggestion online, he explains ingredients and prep.. incorporating these two hilarious typos.. “evenly coat the thinkly cut meat” & suggested a “20 minuet marinade”.. made my sides ache laughing but then I laugh at elephant jokes so… 🤷‍♀️

I have been blessed with a huge sense of injustice, can’t just walk away & forget about it… a run in with a contractor today came out of the blue & totally unjustified as far as I can see has ruined my day. Again, being my own worst critic I have to examine the minutiae repeatedly, I exhaust myself

Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath.
This made him, a super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

So… I love my people and life, cats, dogs, nature, walking, music, learning and video gaming.. can be a tad intolerant at times, fairly solitary and often my own worst enemy and critic. Pleased to meet you all 🩷

Happy Monday.. I spend Sundays dreading Mondays but once here they are not so bad… an eternal optimist I start each day full of positive energy 🦋
We see lots of posts about how good it was in the 60’s, 70’s etc.. will we look back 50 years from now with fond nostalgia too?

Thought it was Monday this morning… the feeling of euphoria when I remembered it was Sunday will linger all day now 🦋

Lovely lot of snow up here in the North East of England, brings out the best in people… two blokes walking up the hill fresh from clearing the snow off their grandads drive, saw a van in trouble and sprang into action pushing him over the hill and on his way. Happy Saturday everyone 🦋
