Life will life. Others will fight for your time to fulfill their sense of control. Fight back. Sequester your writing time. The world can and will adjust without you for a few hours. Even a few minutes.

As @jayheltzer.bsky.social says, just fucking write!

‘We Need Your Art, Stop Messing Around and Make Something’ by Amie McNee is a peppy audiobook that will motivate you to be creative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It inspired me to quit my 2nd job & commit that time to writing 🤗

I miss scholastic book fairs.

Here’s a Broligarch pack. Read all 3 to follow Elon, Sharon/Mark, & Sam as they degrade democracy to feed their insatiable egos😁👍

-Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams

A little poem inspired by the big beautiful bill -

Bedsores outdoors
for all the seniors
kicked off Medicaid.
They’re lined up
in rows
by the thousands
in semi-circles
wheels locked
on hillsides.
French drains
fertilize.
They stare blankly,
with nothing left to lose.
Thank God for Amendment 2.

Great book to prepare for Don’s Depression.

“Oh, the last time how clearly you see everything, as though a magnifying light has been turned on it. And you grieve because you hadn’t held it tighter when you had it every day.”

This letter appeared in the Bloomsburg PA Press Enterprise this morning. I am assured the writer is who he purports to be, an Air Force veteran.

Maybe there’s still hope for us.

If Republicans cut it, I may have to drop her off at Capitol Hill.

I’ve had a difficult time writing lately but am back w/ a new genre?!

Hate-Com, where hateful white men get played by their side pieces and their pick-me orgasm-less wives realize too late the patriarchy hates them, too.
(aka Merikan Fiction 😭)

Women in MO should do the reverse- start mailing his office used tampons and pads so he can keep track of their monthly cycles and know who’s not pregnant. They should also inundate his office with calls and provide fake ovulation schedules for his awareness.
