I haven't seen it in decades, but I did love that movie back when it came out.

A few days ago I saw someone speculate that she was moderating her image to run for president in 2028, a theory I'm finding pretty believable tonight.

I find it weirdly heartening that a pure opportunist like her doesn't see a future as a Trump loyalist.

Okay, after reading her statement, maybe not the Senate? I find it hard to believe that she's going to disappear from public life permanently, though.

I like that movie a lot. I do think the Colin Firth version is even better, but it's a miniseries and at least twice as long, so the movie is a lot easier to make time for.

I had to slow down and pay more attention than I do with modern books, but once I got used to the rhythm of her writing, I really enjoyed it

I've seen several adaptations of it, but I read it for the first time only about three years ago, and was surprised at how funny I thought it was. I mean, obviously it's known for being witty, but I wasn't sure how much of that was going to translate to my mushy, internet-addled brain.

At this point, I think it's weird if people don't want to scream randomly in the middle of the day.
