i really loved rachel gillig's shepherd king duology so i was so excited to read this. it didn't disappoint BUT!!!! i did think the romance was a little too fast for my liking especially when this is book one in a series. i love the main cast a lot though. 4.5/5

i think this may be one of the best games i've ever played, by far goty material. i went into this only knowing a brief synopsis and got my heart wrenched. cried several times. hurt my index finger from parrying on my controller. 10/10 game words are so hard

i've been playing this game on and off (ragequit when i couldn't get past a basic enemy. not even a boss. cringe) and picked it up again recently

i let the "i always wanted a brother" song trick me into wanting to see the whole thing. alas, the best part of it was that song and it was 15 minutes into the movie. the plot was kind of dumb as well but at least the expressiveness of the animation improved
