Hurrah! Still waiting to see the robins return. The past week of warmth (52 today) is sure to bring them early. Our yard is hedged with lilac but a large open lot behind us is a kestrel hunting ground. We decided not to feed our birds but provide lots of cover and trumpet vine for humming birds.

Also workers should re-read/understand their contract's rules for firing: Just Cause vs Reduction in Force actions have documentation requirements, including advance notice. UNION members should CONTACT THEIR REPS as a witness to any dismissal action and to collect evidence for future legal action.

Same here exactly, following the last census. My address got thrown off the edge of a blue district cliff, into a sea of dueling yard signs. But even worse, is the view out my kitchen window: a waving cardboard cutout of the "Other Guy" perched in my neighbor's window. I "salute" him daily.

I was impressed too! Your prep photo caught my eye with its yellow mixing bowl (I inherited the same one from my mom) . My son interned at Weber's test lab in IL and would enjoy all your geeky feedback. Staging an outdoor kitchen in SE Wisconsin, he might do well to add a windbreak to his setup!
