Anorexia nervosa symptoms tended to improve while OCD symptoms did not.

Most studies looked at treatments developed for anorexia.

More research investigating treatment of comorbid anorexia and OCD is needed, particularly for more severe OCD.

This project has been near-and-dear to my heart as an eating disorder researcher who has disabilities from chronic illnesses - I really hope this spurs more ED/disability research.

In this paper, we propose that EDs and disabilities are fundamentally related, both directly, and indirectly through shared factors. We also call for future research, - including urging ED researchers to simply include disability as a demographic!
