Tl;dr: BB is a moralised demand on consumers that currently loses out to rivals - but only because of geopolitics. I.e. this is not destiny.

Women are encouraged by pop feminism, self help books and bullshit leadership courses to internalise the ways that they aren’t taken seriously in the workplace and to label that as imposter syndrome that they have to overcome. It puts all the blame on women as individuals. It’s anti-solidarity.
