We were gone for a week and came home to find someone took Billy Bones off the porch. He was a 7 dollar plastic skeleton from Walgreens 2 years ago. He'd been striking striking poses all this time and now he's gone and Walgreens doesn't have them until Halloween. Dammit.

Going thru a Brown People Harrasment Checkpoint in New Mexico. The girls wanted to know what border we were crossing. I said to smile and look white because those 8th grade educated uniforms wouldn't know a J-1 visa from their shoe.

I found the 80s Mellow Gold channel on Amazon music. Yeah I know Amazon is evil. But by that standard, my day job will assure my spot in hell. So, with my fancy noiseproof earbuds that I bought from a vending machine in an airport when I had to fly Coach, I am reasonably happy at work right now.
