The Nazi Party was obsessed with controlling art, pushing ‘good old days’ nostalgia over modernism. They labeled modern art as ‘degenerate’ and promoted rigid, idealized images instead. Suppressing creativity was just another way they tried to control culture and thought.

The only two groups that I've seen who deeply understand the spiritual peril we are in:
Black women and Jewish women.
I'm talking about feeling it in the cells, our bones. Like, making emergency exit plans.

You can do everything right, be clear & kind, communicate your needs exactly as they are… and some people are just not used to clarity or kindness or communication. So you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
At the end of the day, if you’ve held onto your integrity, you’re doing a good job.

I finally realized what bugs me about the TikTok notice: it’s not that Trump may save it, it’s the ‘we need his permission’ vibe. It feels very Handmaid’s Tale. I don’t need permission to post on a social platform. TikTok, you’re starting to feel like a bad place. Never OfTrump

People that didn’t have TikTok and don’t understand why this is so upsetting are giving the same energy as people who had functional families and scoff at those of us who cut contact with emotionally abusive parents. “But it’s your mom!” / “it’s just an app!” 🤦🏻♀️ #tiktokban #toxicfamily
