A final reminder that I'll be signing copies of my book about the history of the Penguins from noon-2 at the Penguin Bookshop (fitting name, don't you think?), 417 Beaver St., Sewickley.

The tome below is available at bookstores and other retail outlets around Western Pennsylvania. Those living outside of this region, but in the U.S., can order it from reedypress.com or Amazon. Folks in Canada and numerous other countries can get it from Amazon.

The "Who Remembers Demolition Durby?" book tour resumes Saturday, with a noon signing at the Settlers Ridge Barnes & Noble in Robinson. Should be a lot of fun. (Yeah, I know. You'll be the judge of that.)

I will do a presentation and book signing Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex (Event Room 1) and a signing Saturday at noon at the Settlers Ridge Barnes & Noble. Both are free and open to the public, although under-the-table payments to the author are encouraged.

This has made it onto the shelves of at least some local bookstores and other retailers, a few days ahead of schedule. (I saw it at the Barnes & Noble and Rally House in South Hills Village today.) it’s worth buying, if only because the author is so darned good-looking
