And while this has been *very annoying* for me, I'll also note that a grand majority of creators seem to be able to avoid it, so it's not like this impossible bar. If you're already looking out for it actively, you're probably fine.

And a few mild noises here and there will be disruptive but not enough to make me leave. But if it's constant and makes up a good percentage of your voice volume, I'm just outie. There's no amount of compelling writing that can save it for me.

(I hate to name names because it can come across as a general indictment of production quality, which this very much isn't, but this is the best way I can measure it since audio processing is so subjective.)

Without having heard your narrations, it's hard to tell if you'd set me off personally, and I wouldn't use *just me* as a metric anyway.

This video is the one that set me off, and something of that level will turn me off within like a minute.

I miss not having this misophonia. I didn't always have it. And the funny part is my hearing is generally degrading but it can pick up lips smacking to a point that a lot of my entertainment options are just gone.

They ARE! Hands are still by far my weakest area so I have nothing but sympathy for artists that mess them up. And it's why I'll forever scream to the heavens that less-than-perfect hands are not AI make. Human artists have been fucking up hands as long as we've been making art.

I'm not expecting everyone to have an intimate knowledge of the artistic workflow and the ways that very human artists can fall short, but a LITTLE more literacy about the process should be a requirement for anyone making AI accusations. People can make mistakes as well.

Most of the time, tech progression these days is just shoving unnecessary proprietary services into everything so you can start asking customers to pay for it forever, but sometimes, rarely, it's just *good*.

I was in high school when this tech started emerging, and the options were expensive and bad. This was not consumer tech. If you'd told little me that you'd soon be able to print in resin for the price of a mid-range computer I would have balked.

I'm still balking.
