Into too many things with not enough time. Work at Red Rhino doing digital marketing and web dev. Love gaming, art, whiskey, books, music, beer, cooking, movies, tech, and my wonderful wife and dogs.
I've been trying to disconnect from the social media news cycle because holy fuck it's relentless. Discord, Steam, Twitch and Reddit... but everything is fine over in the conservative social media circle jerk hellscape that is X.

I had totally forgotten a new Tron was even coming out. Leto has always come off as skeezy though.

I briefly tried Valorant to see if it would scratch the multiplayer shooter itch but didn't get past playing vs AI. The mechanics didn't really click. Felt similarly about trying to get into Fortnite.

I've been working through CRPGs I never got around to playing. Next up is Pillars of Eternity 2 I think.

I guess I did pick up Indiana Jones a little while ago. It's the newest game I've bought in a long time.

People in the reddit thread are skeptical it's real.

Kind of makes me want to replay it. But the game backlog isn't getting any shorter.

It is such an amazing game. Hopefully any new version does it justice but that's a high bar.

Delicious. Neat idea making the lines through the sauce and mayo. I thought this was cheesecake initially.

I've finally just about mastered the flip on a large okonomiyaki after a few years of making the dish off and on.

I keep reading articles and threads where economists are asked what the strategy is here and they pretty much all say "I don't fucken' know - none of this makes sense on any front."

There's definitely an element of it's-too-insane-to-be-fake... which that image kind of encompasses perfectly.

LMAO - this has to be a creative writing exercise. I hope it is.

Yeah, you'd have to waste a ton of food to make the cost similar.

It seems like a lot of people also just look at the overall cost of ingredients without properly taking into account that some things will last quite a while (e.g. spices, dried beans). Out of the recipes I cook each week, many of the ingredients are already in my pantry.

My honest reaction to the news was surprise it hadn't happened sooner.

I've been trying to avoid diving into the discussion too much. It's pretty grim.
