I agree with you, but at that point the shove had already happened. That hit never goes badly for anyone, especially Romanov, if his stupid teammate didn't pitchfork Raantanen. Whether or not you think Mikko should get punished, how stupid can you be to put your own teammate in danger like that?

I don't know how anybody can say that's not a distinct kicking motion. I presume that the reason we are okay with redirects and not kicks is for goalie protection right? If so then this kick is definitely targeted by the spirit of the rule. Should have been reviewed.

I had seen it spelled both ways and both are unfamiliar surnames to me, so... Was unsure. Thanks for clarifying.
