We lost our cat Murder at a tragically brief 5.5 years to lymphoma. Losing her profoundly changed us.

I don't know who said that grief is love with nowhere to go, but it's true. Both burn the same way.

The single downside, and I'm sorry you (we all) have to go through this. All the time in the world wouldn't be enough

Those are always "here's everything wrong and stupid with this movie and why it sucks," and my response is "absolutely yes, and also you are wrong."

The dumbness is a big part of the appeal - just let me turn off my brain and watch a strong woman righteously kick butt.

Nearly all the Expendables stars are past their prime, but that's what movie magic is for. I'd love to see Cynthia back in action in that series, which also counts as a guilty pleasure.

Could be as simple as re-seating the screen's ribbon cable or replacing the screen itself, or as annoying as a bad motherboard no longer capable of driving the screen properly.

If the storage still works, everything else can be replaced.

Dude is the human equivalent of a paper sack filled with room temperature, herring-flavoured custard. His own mother wouldn't vote for him.

My first handheld! I still have it, but it's failing. Desperately needs a re-cap

He's daft as a post but super lovey, gentle, and adorable. His brother is a menace (intelligent, with object permanence), but equally lovable.
Brother is the one that took down the whole tree 5 minutes after this photo was taken 😆

His first time seeing the tree is my favourite photo of him

Took a lot of literature courses at uni and hated "classic" lit. It was dry, the symbolism was generations removed, and nothing resonated.

Frankenstein was the exception. It not only holds up, but it is captivating and utterly beautiful. I kept thinking "wait, this book is HOW old?"

Democrats table vote on whether Republicans are doing it or the possibility that they are, in fact, hitting themselves.

I'm gonna have to say Kurôzu-Cho from Junji Ito's Uzumaki. Not overly spooky at first, but (not to spoil anything) pretty nightmarish at the end.

It's depressing the best we can hope for is for infighting to save the US.
