Today is #Intersex Awareness Day.

Intersex people make up around 1.7% of humanity, and whilst most people with an intersex condition do not identify as intersex, many of us do.

Our rights to self identification & bodily autonomy are denied to us in most parts of the world today.

Streeting is the absolute worst of the UK TERFs. A low, disgusting traitor who used Stoneall and the LGBTQIA community to get into power and then stabbed British intersex and transgender people in the back. He deserves nothing but open contempt.

In the wake of the Supreme Court scandal, when hand-picked judges ended the UK’s commitment to legal parity between trans and cis people, it was argued that trans-people are equally protected in law

It's important to note that the Act still provides transgender people with protections against discrimination, and that the judges said it was not their place to weigh in on those definitions in the wider public debate.

For now, whilst the court has yet to pass sentence on Graham Linehan, seeing him bask in the warm glow of rampant media hypocrisy illustrates clearly the double standards of the British establishment when it comes to transgender people

In court, Baker admitted that what she’d said was wrong, and that she regretted it. She explained that she was just trying to be funny, and to get headlines for the cause of transgender rights.
