It's been a while since I've seen them since I don't see ads anymore, but somehow they got my location and started giving me ads for organizations and politicians and what not in my area who were pushing against trans rights (I believe a few of my friends who get ads have also gotten similar stuff)

I've gotten to the point where I've had to completely nuke ads YouTube gives me especially since they keep pushing transphobic ads onto me. At this point I try to buy people's merch whenever I can to make up for not watching ads.
