غيّر القائد المليشياوي السوداني "أبو عاقلة كيكل" ولاءه بين الجيش والدعم السريع، ثم عاد إلى الجيش في أقل من عام. ربما أثرت هذه التقلبات على ميزان القوى في الحرب، لكن ما بقي ثابتًا هو معاناة المدنيين المستمرة.

After 54 years of brutal Assad regime rule and 14 years of war, Syrians deserve to be able to re-envision and rebuild a Syria for all Syrians. The only way to do so is for sectoral sanctions to be lifted.

As the Trump admin sets its Syria policy, this must be a top priority.
TIMEP joined 161 Syrian and international organizations urging President Trump, Secretary Rubio, Treasury Department, members of Congress & others to relieve sanctions on Syria.
