We have yet to know if that's the case (and I'm not implying it is), but, generally speaking, it's a good reason for Valve to keep the Steam Deck project alive; oems may prove unreliable, if bribed or threatened by Microsoft.

You mean GeForce Now, by Superduper PC? I tought you were referring to a PC you already own (like in Steam in-home streaming). Which is an excellent solution, IF you have one.

This is if you take for granted that everybody has a superduper PC. Many Steam Deck users don't have that option.

If you play while your Steam Deck is docked, GeForce Now is a good solution to play in 1080p and above.

And they always forget to mention that these handhelds are sold at premium prices. That's the biggest reason why the Steam Deck is still relevant.
