We study by candlelight, aspiring to build a future.
The border is closed, and dreams of studying abroad are stuck behind locked gates.
We don’t know how long we will continue, but in Gaza, education is a miracle.

The bombing struck our homes, and the war machine chased us into exile.
All of Gaza is a prison no shelter, no escape.
We survived the missiles, only to face a fiercer enemy: hunger.
