I should be clearer. The angel & krampus were with Santa, not me. I had rum in my tea & I'm really struggling to follow Bavarian accents.

Snoop performed at the big annual meeting of my partner's corporate job. He said it was surreal sitting at a work event, waiting for the regular presentations on market penetration & stock performance while watching Snoop smoke a blunt on stage.

Normally I'd be home in the Midwest helping to cook today. But I abandoned my family to go hang out in some Christmas markets in Bavaria. It's a little cold, but nice.

One of my partners is an engineer with a special interest in engineering disasters & houses featured on Something Awful. I have learned so many terrible things that are making my current house hunting endeavors so much more anxiety provoking!

Non-live-in partner is on a work trip. And he's been traveling for work enough that between his airline miles & my credit card points we paid for my plane ticket. His employer is paying for hotel & stuff.

Got an opportunity to go to Munich for the week & go to the Christmas Market. Haven't been to one since I was a kid.

Plus, in the summer, the National Park Services volunteers give lectures on that train & point out the sights. They are amazing.

Last live shows I attended I took the train from Tucson. It was A Lot, but still highly recommend. I have many strong opinions about Amtrak train cars now.

I blame my current politics on being raised in the twin socialist utopias of Germany & the US military. There were a lot of trains. And free healthcare.

Also true for landlords, real estate developers, & all sorts of professionals. The super secret name of the LLC is often the address of the property (100 Main Street belongs to 100 Main Street LLC). How's that for recursive?

They just kept repeating that we violated their rules by accepting donations. Even pointing out that part of their company recognized us as a legit charity didn't work. Got one of my members who worked there to intervene internally before they released our money. Changed payment processors ASAP.
