FFS, wasn't the last pandemic enough?? If we end up in those scary times again, I hope the people responsible feel every awful moment and consequence of catching the virus. I don't wish ill on their family, but noone mourns the wicked.
The Trump administration has just canceled a nearly $600 million contract with Moderna that was meant to develop a bird flu vaccine.

In- progress project. I need the larger, more complicated panels right now. I'll take any little shred of joyful distraction I can get, and as expensive as this hobby is, it's cheaper than therapy. Pattern is by Justin Behnke. #stainedglass

Is it too much to hope that one of the other countries Musk had been meddling with either takes him out or imprisons him? Apparently, it's too much to ask of our elected checks and balances to honor their part in keeping us safe.

I have always known my father was a republican, but I never thought he would cheer on a nazi salute. I want to love my parents, but knowing what they're in support of is deeply painful.

The first Justin Behnke pattern I completed, the toad in wild violets. I had it professionally framed, it was a gift for my husband. #stainedglass

Spending today crafting something beautiful and lasting. I'll spend tomorrow with the TV turned off, the tension in this country feels like a thick tar. ##stainedglass

My husband brought me Scrapple from his visit with family in PA. I know it's an acquired taste, but I feel loved that he remembered I liked it and brought it back for me.

I finished this 20" panel earlier this year. I love mantids, and it makes me smile in my office window.
