All I know is through osmosis, but I thought she had teammates in the previous Prime? Either way, for a ~40yo series, is the sense of loneliness the main appeal? Samus being responsible for a human life, rather than just defending humanity in the abstract, sounds like a compelling direction imho

In an era where powerful child rapists might, hopefully, maybe finally see consequences for their actions, the last thing we need to be doing is trying to rehabilitate the image of the Catholic church.

I just feel like, wasn't making peace with Navi as the Hero of Time a formative collective experience for the people of Nintendoland? He could just be smears of yellow paint clumsily slapped all over the environment after all!

I think it also has a lot to do with what’s become the, like, acceptably fat hot body which is one with no cellulite, no visceral fat, and no fat in the neck/face, basically it’s okay to be fat so long as your body is essentially a big titty, and that informs the aesthetics artists draw from.
