I think ai art is a fad. The Oatmeal has it right: it's boring. I have seldom seen an AI image and felt moved by it. I use MJ a lot for my d&d games. It's often exactly what I ask for, but seldom what I need. So I predict Ai art will become niche. And largely used for porn.

Honestly at this point I'd rather forget. GOP used that tragedy to divide our country, weaken the constitution, and launch 2 wars. "Never forget" is meaningless because they robbed this country of its shared purpose and just made it about themselves.

WWACD? What Would the Antichrist Do?

TL;DR: they were falling over themselves to jockey for position. Just how Trump likes it.

5/ It's always a prison. It's always about how cruel they want us to know they are. It's always something they're proud of, until, perhaps surprised at the backlash, they back off and blame us for misunderstanding them.

4/ Dog-killing Kristy Noem, again under Donald Trump, is proudly boasting of the slave prison we've started sending undesirables to, whether they are proven to be criminals or not.

3/ Jeff Sessions, under Donald Trump, imposed his zero tolerance rule for border crossings, changing it from a misdemeanor to a felony, resulting in the children of asylum-seekers being ripped away from their parents and stuck in cages. He boasted of this as a deterrent to illegal immigration.

2/ Donald Rumsfeld, under George W. Bush sent detainees to our disgraceful Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, where inmates were subjected to physical and psychological torture. Bush, when confronted with this atrocity, cluelessly responded with a promise to build a better prison.

/5
[Chorus]
And I'll remember.
I will remember.
I will be him, he will be me
The sum of my potentiality
And I'll remember.
I will remember.
It will be then, remembering now
Tomorrow is today's yet to be.

And I'll be free.

4/
I'll write a note to my younger me
And send it back to the time I was free
When the future was uncertain, and so far away
And I'll remember what future me
Had in mind for me to see
That tomorrow is made of yesterday

3/
[Chorus]
I don't remember.
I don't remember.
I wasn't him, he isn't me
I don't know who I am supposed to be.
I don't remember.
I don't remember.
That wasn't then, this isn't now
Tomorrow is today's yet-to-be.

2/
And when the future comes around
I'll treasure the letter that I've found
From the younger me and his naïveté
Did all his hopes and dreams come true?
Was he strong enough to see them through?
Or did all those years just slip and slide away?

[Instrumental Solo]

"Wierd Semantic Games" was the name of my band in high school.

Nothing is ever their fault.

The media seem to be calling this out as a blunder, like "only a fool would use signal, only a moron would add a journalist to a national security chat," etc. the real story is, these people intentionally circumvented secure systems so they could chat off the record. Not morons. Crooks.

If one pattern holds true for every Trump appointee, it is to destroy the department they're charged to run, whether through malice or incompetence.

Woodrow Wilson did this when he became president. Re-segregation, that is.
