Ideally many movies should look great in b/w. it's a feature of multiple disciplines (lighting, framing, etc.) coming together in the final product. I care to much about authorial intent to try this randomly but I've seen The Mist in b/w as it was meant to be viewed and it works in its favor.

So Half-Life but more like Quake/Project Quiver. Sounds good.
Gotta be honest, I don't quite care for the "boomer shooter" label. After seeing it on so many different games all I can say it means by this point is "game wot looks old".

I've had mixed feelings about this Legacy Kollection from the start. The selection of games is a bit all over the place but I can't say I'm not excited for the arcade edition of MK4. Curious to see how they've ported it.

I never liked that they repackaged Unreal 1 with the Tournament menu. OG Unreal's main menu and fly by was superior, imo.

Then I don't know what to say. They're kinda doing their own thing, imo. Mafia's more of a linear story in a big map (Mafia 3 Excluded). Honestly we wouldn't be having this conversation if Mafia had just been a proper 3rd person shooter with proper levels instead of pretending to be an open world.

If you're talking about Mafia 1 (not remastered) and GTA 3 then yes. Quite a spicy take. Maybe plot wise, sure, but GTA 3 beats Mafia 1 in every other category.

I assume this is the open-world activity filled build of the game since that's the only build the ever came close to being playable. All I ever wanted was a sequel to Pray with Tommy as the main guy. This one would've had you playing a generic bounty hunter in space.
