It’s a very complicated sector for sure. I had a chance to chat with the filmmaker about the seemingly impossible unreconcilable different ways of working in the woods. Plus the sheer daring of filming among clear cuts.

VIFF premiered this stunning locally produced documentary. The film maker, who has had a long career in the woods, offers up unfiltered views of working in the forestry sector.

Yeah, I own it. It’s been lovingly cared for all these years. It has glass stovetop and I’m so bummed that I can’t use my wonderful cast iron frypans 😕

Good info. Thanks for the tip. This feature is new to me although the stove I have is about 20 years old. I tried it once and started to panic when it got amazingly hot. From now on I’ll resort to elbow grease.
