Not depressed so much. Left with a deeper understanding of the complexities of “work” and variety livelihoods dependent on the woods. Multi generational economic and cultural ties. The filmmaking itself was remarkable with the camera dangerously following tree planters and lumberjacks alike.

It’s a very complicated sector for sure. I had a chance to chat with the filmmaker about the seemingly impossible unreconcilable different ways of working in the woods. Plus the sheer daring of filming among clear cuts.

Yeah, I own it. It’s been lovingly cared for all these years. It has glass stovetop and I’m so bummed that I can’t use my wonderful cast iron frypans 😕

Good info. Thanks for the tip. This feature is new to me although the stove I have is about 20 years old. I tried it once and started to panic when it got amazingly hot. From now on I’ll resort to elbow grease.

Varies widely from state to state. Federal elections in Canada are run by one organization in the exact same way from coast to coast to coast.
