It needs to be used (or cleaned out) regularly so the ink can continue to flow instead of being stagnant! I think its more like a month of non-use for me before it clogged, not a week 😂

I'm ngl my first pilot kakuno i used the prefilled cartridge it came with, forgot it for about a week(?) or two and it dried up and clogged 😭 i like the squeasable converter because after im done using it i just squeeze the leftover back into the ink bottle cause im anxious about forgetting again!

The pilot kakuno is super cute and good for beginners imo! I personally have and like the pilot metropolitan, it has a squeasable convertor where you can easily switch between inks!
