wow, this is such a cool idea. extending a game (or particular aspects of a game) out into the room, applying effects to the room based on parameters of the game, and more.

even more impressive to me is that valve's software is able to detect where you're moving your eye to and update the parameters of the system before your gaze reaches its destination.

kind of funny that right-wingers in finland didn't want independence from russia because they apparently like shitty monarchies that much, but changed their tune once communism happened. despite that, communists pulled the chad move of being the first to recognize finland's independence

event cameras are so cool. instead of capturing full frames of image data at fixed intervals, they capture the change in brightness of each pixel at much higher temporal resolutions. because they generate so much less data, they're a much more CPU and power-efficient way to achieve computer vision.
