I recently learned that the endemic Scottish Wildcat (picture provided) used to be widespread across Great Britain, but it's become one of the rarest cat species due to habitat loss and hybridisation with domestic cats.

There's this little field around the corner from my apartment that is so full of colour that I just couldn't resist snapping a few photos.
I can only identify the corncockles, poppies, cornflowers, daisies and buttercups.
I grew up outside London so I could never appreciate nature as a child.
