back on the tangent, uh

the crazy thing about this specific truck is that it offered a sleeper cabin for the yard spotter

the point of yard spotter trims was to cheapen the fuck outta the truck and not worry about aerodynamics or any extra metal, cuz they dont go on highways and dont needa b nice

this particular project is a bit of a failure but not a useless one

i was gonna make this one of those trucks iwth the off-centered cabin that you see at dock yards. some older trucks just had a yard spotter version you could buy

anyway, the front-facing version was meant to better demonstrate it

but i do* think its fine* fuuuck

i actually doubt ID could make it much better and they made fallout 4's combat one of the most fun, punchy feeling combat systems of that time

i think one of the issues with minecrafts combat is just that the game doesnt have a high enough level of detail or motion to make it not feel frustrating and arbitrary

like when my arm is just there with the axe or shield *visually* ready but it doesnt count or cant swing cuz the timer says i cant

okay there must be more to this than i thought

cuz peeps i saw were complaining that the game had too much progression and was trying too hard to add things that nobody wants

one thing thats been added has been a miss for me, for sure.

like i never liked the combat but i dont think its fine

ive also gotten solid enough to enjoy drawing them a lot and its no longer a chore or something to overcome

i think the midwestern truck stuff has finally caught on with me again so theres a chance ill commit to it more like with point-blanche

i may stick with the quarry queers name but i have a few really corny ideas in mind for names that are worse

some peeps sound almost radicalized about game changes now. ive been seeing a lot of vids acting like everything added to minecraft since 2019 has been an infraction and counting. granted there are things to be mad about lately, but prior, it was a lot of pedantic complaining
