I’m sure this tik tok comment is a troll, but I do see this kind of knee-jerk reaction to encountering new words sometimes and it makes me scratch my head. Learning a new word does not harm you. In fact for every word you know, there was a first time you encountered it, and you survived each time.

Haven’t stopped thinking about the economic system in A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. Instead of money they exchange social media likes for good and services. There’s no debt and wealth inequality doesn’t translate to huge power. Nice!
