About to go in on this presentation about Consensual Non-Monogamy and Happiness through relationship satisfaction. I always get a little nervous doing assignments using Non-Monogamy as a topic but so far it’s been well received in the academic world. #polyamory

You can be poly if you really want to. If you are already in a mono relationship, however, that takes a little investment in communication and understanding and a partner open to it. It is much easier to enter into consensual non-monogamy while solo than opening up a monogamous partnership.

Go back to monogamy…that would really suggest that I was ever monogamous to begin with. Even in the times of being “poly single” I still considered myself to be a polyamorous person who was experiencing monogamy.
