Avianos: Holy Crap, where do I start? It's a turn based strategy game where dinosaurs lived forever and established civilizations. You start your kingdom and your goal is to take over the map and destroy the enemy. Different strategies build based on what dinosaurs god you worship(yes really)

Bushido Ball: You select your character that has a unique ability and you make your way through a tournament of Bushido Ball. As dodgeball elements but you score by slamming the ball to the other end of the screen. Definitely one of my favs especially when you sweep the NPCs.

Vainger: What a badass name. The name alone attracted me to this one and it's a metroid-vania. The main mechanic here is the use of anti-gravity to walk on the roof and floor. Lends itself to clever puzzles and boss fights.

Night Manor: Point and click horror/puzzle game. I liked the setting and the cheesy story representative of the times. Can easily be done in one sitting in maybe an hour or two.

Next one, Grimstone: An RPG set in the Old West with final fantasy elements. You choose between 8 party members and journey forth Has "Earthbound" elements as well and the game does not pull its punches. It is also considered one of the longest game ranging around 15-20 hours.

Now some personal stand outs: Rock on! Island. I'm a sucker for tower defense games, you play as a caveman defending the village from dinosaurs. Tracks range in scale of difficulty from one being relatively easy and the next one being pretty difficult. I found myself trying to 100% this one.
