💧I find crying fascinating (good thing, as I’ve been doing a lot of it lately?) Maybe if we learned more about it and viewed it less as a weakness and more as a powerful connector to ourselves and others, we’d sink into the need as it arises.💧

We’re awkward & uncertain around grief; we avoid, ignore, or even deny feelings of sadness; we offer platitudes; we send sympathy bouquets whittled out of fruit.

But: please make yourself send that text to a friend, move that body of yours in a way that feels good, listen to that song that somehow makes it better for 3 minutes, eat or drink something that feels necessary. We love you.
