Beautiful old signal box Waterford City, Ireland. Decommissioned years ago. A listed building, however just like the other listed signal boxes, it will be let rot and then have to be demolished. A real shame!

A little surprise at the C&L Railway. Fuselage of DC7c long-range, used by Queen Elizabeth on her tour of Canada 1957? Believed to have been piloted by Prince Philip.

My favourite Irish locomotive is the Class 121 and sad to see this is where 133 ends up. Made by General Motors and run on the network in Ireland until 2002, with the last two remaining in service until 2008

With no experience the next challenge is choosing a controller, and after asking other experienced modellers I decided to go with Gaugemaster Prodigy Advance2 including WiFi at €450 from Wayne at the Model Shop Enniskillen.
