I think this will ultimately culminate to AI companies like OpenAI paying authors/journalists because the models will constantly need new content and the creators of it will continue to become more protective of their work

I don’t entirely agree but really appreciate the insight into the gen z number. Times must and always do change but for gen z it feels like the world is changing at break-neck speeds and career security is fleeting fleeting. I empathize with this sentiment
