I have three screens for working at home.
I like to say it’s so I can have spreadsheets open across all three, but in reality it’s so I can put YouTube ‘videos for cats’ on one screen each morning to keep one of my unpaid interns busy.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Rome’s Colosseum several times over the years, and yet only on today’s visit did I find out that the Colosseum has a cat flap.

The San Siro is such an iconic stadium, especially for old folk like me who remember Italia 90. Brilliant to finally visit.
Plus a beer and a hot dog at the football. An alien world to Scotland. The Italian reaction to a sad burnt pie and a tepid Bovril would be quite the sight.

Unsure if I’m on a list, but since I am a MDANT I would undeniably love to be (and will pay in biscuits if needed).

My favourite trivia around the Maradona mural in Napoli is that it’s the window to a bloke’s bathroom who can no longer open his shutters but does manage to hang his bath mat out like it’s catching drool from Diego’s chin.

I turned up to Bluesky expecting to stand alone in the kitchen and read old fridge stickers when in reality loads of folk have turned up who are wary & scarred from the other party, but they all just want to play good music and talk about books and cardigans. It’s brilliant. Such a relief.
