🎮 JRPG at Heart, Roguelike in Spirit
Some JRPGs have experimented with roguelike elements, but as far as I know, none have fully built their core structure around it.
What I'm aiming for is classic JRPG gameplay at heart, but with the fast pace and excitement of roguelikes !

The Fog of War shows enemy positions and terrain, but hides squad compositions, so it’s all about gathering intel and adapting your strategy.
And it's not just a mechanic…
In the story, the fog is a corrupted veil spreading across the world.
It also changes with weather!

Lufia II, randomizers, ROM hacks, Pokerogue… all that inspired Mochi Conquest.

Surprisingly I didn't find modern games doing it!
Demo’s planned for December!
