@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social Since the blue tsunami Tuesday night and the passage of Prop. 50 in CA, I truly hope that during this shutdown the Democrats are developing a long-term strategy for this country (project 2028). And given how democratic voters feel, the centrist approach will not work!

In 1964, a program that brought migrant Mexican laborers to the U.S. ended. So the U.S. recruited American students to pick crops instead. When they saw their living conditions, strikes ensued.

@claycane.bsky.social Hi Clay. I’m following up on my earlier post about Justice Jackson and today’s SCOTUS decision. I read her opinion and understand that she is following Supreme Court precedent in the Bostock case and EEOC rulings. I believe the District court will ultimately rule correctly.
