I've always preferred slower mindless transitions rather than an instant or a "ping" so maybe it's just me

Mid conversation dropping someone's fade trigger and they start to struggle to keep their train of thought until nothing is behind those eyes anymore

I've gone into light trance while hypnotizing people so often and thought it was just me being used to being a sub. It's a super nice experience though
At least unless your partner is also a switch and keeps trying to use it to flip on you lol
