Over 1/5 of the way there! :)
Today we finished our design of the Flag-Guessing Game
Only the logic behind the score is yet missing.

Today I learned a bunch of useful stuff about buttons, images, alerts and more!
And I introduced a tab-system so I can keep all the code lectures from one day in one app and don't have to delete them.

in broad daylight when I left my table for literally 15 seconds in the lounge room of my university... wtf? 🤯
Why are people like this? They can't even do anything with it, since it's now hardware locked 🔒

Today I finished my first challenge!
My I present: Converty - your time converter 🔀
FUNFACT: 6 weeks contain exactly 10! seconds… no joke!🙃

Well those challenges today were fairly easily :)
But I used the time to deploy WeSplit on my iPhone for the first time!
What a nice App-Icon!😂
Tomorrow my first challenge in this course starts!👀🔥

First ever mini project done!🥳
That was on my bucket list for a very long time! 👀
WeSplit… ready for the AppStore🙃😂

So now we here… my first ever SwiftUI Project :)
Project 1: WeSplit - a Tip split calculator💰💶
Well you can’t quite see anything of that… but we will get there tomorrow I guess

Soo now we are done with the Swift part… now we start with SwiftUI 🤩
Today the lesson was this 1 hour recap of Swift:

Very good Video of @twostraws.bsky.social !🔥

Today the subject was: optionals
Or was it?😌
checkpoint today was a One-Liner

Phew… that was a fight today🫠
Lot of new information!
But I think I conquered that checkpoint!😌
But I really have to think myself through opaque returns and those „complex“ built extensions again!
But I guess it comes with using it a lot :)

Soo today we tackled classes in swift! I like them! Quite similar to them in Java… but I like the deinit() method!

today we finished the intro to structs.
And with a bit of googling I found this much nicer control-flow-tool called „guard“ much nicer/cleaner rather a if/else structure in my eyes. 👀
What do you think?🤔

yaay 10% done! ✅
today we learned about structs
kind of like classes in Java?
But it seems as if there are also classes in Swift… so gotta be patient wait for that to come :)

Closure are actually a bit tricky…🔥
Somehow the syntax highlighting in my Xcode seems a bit off… too much is considered „Plaintext“🤔
Gonna try and reinstall Xcode.

error found 🙃
todays checkpoint: brute force square-root finder!
with a very efficient O(sqrt(n)) runtime complexity!🤩😂

Now we accomplished functions
I almost always start a dictionary with { rather than the [
old Python habbits🫠
and from today and „yesterday“
I don’t like the 1…10 notation!
Sadly I can’t use stride() everywhere. :(

Damn I am in a rush!😌
Today we got the good old FizzBuzz Problem!
I personally prefer the %-operator rather than the .isMultiple() function

I don’t like the „missing“ indent in the default auto-format at the switch cased.
Here I prefer the Java-Way with a indent :)

Somehow the built in functions (e.g. print) are not colored. Custom built are… weird…🤔

wow (🙏) two days in one…
if I keep doubling it I am done in 7 Days😌
But now I know how much 42°C in °F is!

I guess the first few days I can just skim through and pick out the differences to other languages :)
I kinda miss the type definition when declaring a variable🫠 seems so „naked“ without it
