My husband just had hip surgery, so I couldn’t leave him alone. I stood on my corner for most of 2 ½ hours, blowing bubbles with the sound track of Hamilton on a speaker. Lots of honks of approval and waves!

I just finished reading “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown, about the quest for gold in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. It’s a compelling read centered around the University of Washington’s rowing team, but intertwined in the story is Hitler’s rise and his use of propaganda. 1/4
