Yes, I gave a copy of that Young Black Doom Nort to him at a convention and it would seem he has liked it!
Another to note is that the Shadow artwork I did was the first time I ever drew Shadow. As you can see, Kirk Thorton signed it with the addition of a wonderful conversation with him 🥹

For the heck of it, decided to draw Saix! Funny enough, this might be my second time drawing him. I am proud how it turned out though: a palate cleanser drawing someone else that’s not Y!Xehanort.

I hope one day Square Enix can take the opportunity to make Dark Road a proper console game with higher production quality because feel so many fans are missing out such crucial information about the main antagonist of the Dark Seeker saga. For the time being, I’ll draw more Xehanort in the future.

There’s also so much history from him not just when he was a student. But when we found out what his mother looked liked & how he is part of a special bloodline, his destiny & purpose made it more clear & how he was the perfect contrast to Sora.

Seeing how layered he was, how vulnerable and flawed he was, Xehanort in his younger years made his entire character arc all the more intriguing to me. Especially since, in a way, it became a form of therapy for me to also help me understand myself because of how much o analyzed his character.

To celebrate 5 years of Dark Road, I want to share some scene redraws I did from the game in the same span of time since its release. This is truly a special story to me because I get to see my favorite KH character have more screen time as a the main protagonist.

To celebrate my birthday, gonna share a recent art piece I did this week. I was listening to “Ashes” by Celine Dion on repeat to hopefully nail down the mood. I mean, it’s kind of a Xehanort coded song to me & trying out using ashes as a concept was fun to try out.
