I’m a season ticket holder. I would MUCH rather go to a match where my biggest concerns are “don’t forget the sunscreen” and “bring your sunglasses”, over matches where it’s “are six layers of warm clothes enough, or do I need more?”

We lose 8 to 10 weeks of potential home matches (May - mid July), when the weather in the Twin Cities is as nice as it gets all year. So, what are we getting in return?
And I thought of this on my drive home - when does the Schwan's Cup happen? How many of those teams attend United matches?

It's a terrible idea. The best possible solution is to bankrupt FIFA and build a new, better version that wants what is best for the sport, not whatever lines their pockets with the most money.
