I mean look at this, the PCIe slot is just on the side of the case, dangling off with no way to secure it.

If you're going to boost these things as anything other than an edge device or a toy on your desk, you need to provide legitimate solutions to installing and mounting them.

I wouldn't use a bench test rig as my daily driver, why would I trust my NAS in the same form factor?

The problem, however, is that these SBCs don't conform to any real size standard, so you more or less need to have your so-called NAS solution is just going to be lose parts sitting together.

I'm not interested in trusting my NAS solution that could easily be unplugged by my cat waking by.

Especially when you realize that people are going to continue voting for them, and continue to elect people who are not at all interested in politics, deferring to sound bytes instead.

Like, politicians are elected to supposedly represent their people, not to get a show on Fox or OANN or whatever.

It used to be funny watching the GOP destroy itself. But now that it's actually more or less completely destroyed (I mean, they've completely lost the ability to do any type of lawmaking at this point), it's actually kind of sad.
