How much was it per egg? Mine are like 30-40 cents each in Oakland... not as bad as I've seen people post about, but also not exactly cheap.

That's awful... I've found that a lot of places do this kind of thing over the phone to scam people into going in person. Then they can use even more high pressure sales tactics. I've started to ask salepeople who make verbal offers to email me a quote so I have it in writing before I bother.
