So, because of where I grew up (deep-red Texas) there are people in my Facebook orbit who share things from Trump fan accounts. And now they are taking up the cause of the Cracker Barrel guy, because they see removing him as a threat to Christian society. Even I don't know what's happening here.

A busy week for the kittens: we returned the mother cat to her owner (who's doing better now), & four kittens have been permanently adopted by our friends, who will take good care of them.
This leaves Haji Mushuk, whom we're keeping with us. He's made friends with our adult cat & pittie. 🙂

Day 32 of the kittens: when we're home, we leave the door to their room propped open so their mom can leave and come back as she pleases. I just went upstairs to close the door for the night and they were all gone! Fortunately, they were all napping in the bathroom together. 🙂

I realize this is getting monotonous, but I'm at a loss to say anything helpful about what's happening. At this point, I think the best use for my account might just be kitten pictures. Aside from that, my students are great and it's the best semester I've had in the classroom since the pandemic.

So, we have a new cat--a friend of our daughter has a tenuous housing situation, and she needed a place for Beez, who's getting used to things. Already found Tiger's favorite spot. Fortunately he doesn't mind.
