But I'm not continuing this anyway since I really don't care enough to keep up this circular debate

Ignoring the issue and saying to just use other feeds isn't a solution, it's a workaround.
Like, if it's meant to be that way? Fine! But then I don't feel like it's "discovery" and more so just "home"
What if an actual discovery page could help you find and explore feeds outside the list's default?
December 18, 2025 at 6:19 PM
...damn... We're going in circles... ...maybe I should just shut up and accept everything bsky does and not have an opinion...
December 18, 2025 at 6:07 PM
At least in my experience, I just scrolled through ~100 posts on my discovery page, and it's all people I follow/reposts from others I follow.
Might be different for you idk but lord have mercy on me for having a criticism of a website
December 18, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Again, that was not my argument, please go read what I actually said
December 18, 2025 at 5:54 PM
That's great and all but doesn't address their criticism, having "Discover" actually being used for discovery just seems, sensical? Which as they've highlighted, doesn't.
We all know that there's other feeds, but why not enhance the two default options?
December 18, 2025 at 5:53 PM
That's a horrible rebuttal, they're asking about the main two feeds this site offers.
If I have to go find/create outside the default feed where I find new content why do they even exist.

I think they have a valid criticism that deserves a better answer, maybe @bsky.app can do sth?

So you hold the keys for this encryption... Where exactly? In the event of a data breach, what stops someone uncovering people's entire social networks, phone numbers, locations etc?

How does that in any way make the platform decentralised if users don't even hold their own keys?
December 18, 2025 at 5:26 PM
It's definitely an interesting experiment, just a shame that no one thought about it longer than 5 seconds.
December 17, 2025 at 9:49 AM
Yea but why tho
December 4, 2025 at 3:50 PM
honestly, I think it'd be a great way to make bsky feel more human, and detract from the usual "engagement farming" style of traditional likes.
if the concern is UI clutter; I'd personally put them in a smol drawer under the post, and tidy the repost et al into a collapsible menu.

I might be late to the party on this, what's vibecoding? isn't that just coding normally?
March 16, 2025 at 9:34 PM
this, I thought we left behind the idea of 3rd party libs for core/core-adjacent functionality behind with NodeJS

(They) took away our fear of breaking them by giving the illusion of (((safety))).
What's wrong, scared you'll deref a null pointer? Maybe have a race condition?
