As someone who grew up behind the iron curtain, where people could disappear just for saying the wrong thing to the wrong person, I wouldn't travel to the US now. I worry for those who never experienced a totalitarian system and think Trump's US is a safe place to visit. It's not!

He sure saved the Libs. I was sure we'd have to put up with conservative government before he appeared. It feels awesome to have hope that Canada may end up with a competent leader instead of being embarrassed internationally by PP.

Why not obsess? Before he appeared on our political scene I was seriously considering voting for the Bloc and I'm from BC!!! Once Carney appeared, I looked up his credentials, read his book, watched him negotiate and could finally see a positive future for Canada.

Even if he had security clearance, can anyone imagine that guy doing anything other than criticize the current PM. If he had no one to criticize, he would become invisible and Canada needs a serious, visible leader to fight this trade war for us. PP isn't a serious or qualified leader!
