This is a case of the rotten apple not falling far from the rotten tree that is Dementia J. Trump: convicted felon in the state of New York, liable for defamation in the E. Jean Carroll case, liar, narcissist, bigot, misogynist, racist, sexist…. Need I say more?

It’s amazing how the Republicans call for a return to civility when they win, but when they lose, they’re all about ripping everyone apart. Like many other things in the Republican Party, the double standard is the norm.

I’m a Massachusetts democrat in one of the bluest states in the country. I voted because it’s my civic responsibility to do so. Also, if you don’t participate you shouldn’t be able to complain about the results.

It wouldn’t have saved us from Trump in this election, but it WOULD have saved us from him eight years ago. Remember, he won the Electoral College in that election, but Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. Also, see George W. Bush in 2000.

This is why the Electoral College is antiquated and needs to be abolished. It diminishes the true voice of the American voter. Presidential elections should be dependent on direct vote count, like everything else.

Makes me glad I live in Massachusetts.
